Wooden kitchen renovation ‘Model Lundgaard&Tranberg’ in oiled Oak wood
In this beautiful kitchen project, the owners of this Swiss farmhouse wanted to renovate their entire home – including the kitchen.
The Architects from ‘Stereo Architektur’ had proposed to remove the old garage and turn it into the kitchen surrounded by a concrete shell.
This is a beautiful example how to make the kitchen one of the main features and most impressive rooms of the house!
The cabinets and drawers are made from Oak wood, and the wood has been treated with oil, to give the kitchen a beautiful, natural look.
As tabletops, the clients chose a 20 mm satinated Valser Gneis, which is a Swiss granite/gneis stone.
This model is the original, minimalistic kitchen model from Garde Hvalsøe, which laid the foundation for the company.
It was designed by Danish Architects Lundgaard & Tranberg for their private home more than 25 years ago, it’s timeless in it’s looks.
All kitchen cabinets, either kitchen islands or wall cabinets – are made-to-measure, and you can get it in most types of wood.
